    Frank, Mark, and George Clist
    The handwriting is Leonard Clist's. He has identified My Father Frank on the left. At the top is My father's two brothers, Mark, and George Clist (right). From Mark's clothes and centrality, we deduce that this photo of the three brothers was taken on Mark's wedding day, 12 May 1897. Sadly, Mark died just over two years later.

    Died 20 August 1891 in Shoreditch, aged 56. Notice lodged by Frank Clist (aged 24 at the time), one of John's sons, who was present at the death and was living at 44 Ashmead Road, St Johns, London. John is buried in Orchard Portman Churchyard, together with his wife Elizabeth. Their eldest son George and his wife Mary are buried nearby in a triple grave with their daughter Helen Joy.
