On board TSS Rotorua, of the New Zealand Line
My grandfather Sidney Clist is at front left, and his brother John at back right. John has his hand on Charles Rossiter's shoulder. Charles was a cousin of Sidney and John, and from the age of 5 was reared in their home as their brother. I think that the young man at the back left is in Sidney's wedding group photo (Gisborne, 15 Apr 1913) but I do not know who he is. Nor do we know the person standing in the middle at the back. Departed Plymouth 29 Oct 1910 for Wellington via Capetown, Fremantle, Hobart, Sydney and Auckland. This photo was found among John Clist's memorabilia.
